Maharashtra minister and BJP leader Nitesh Rane has strongly reacted to Bollywood actor Aamir Khan's third marriage, sparking a major political and social debate by calling him the 'brand ambassador of Love Jihad'. Speaking to the media, Rane urged the Hindu community, particularly the youth, to reconsider who they idolize as role models, noting that the personal decisions of major celebrities deeply impact society.

Rane stated, 'Hindu youth who consider him a celebrity should think about what inspiration they are drawing from him. When such people make life decisions, the Hindu society must reflect on it. Who is the brand ambassador of Love Jihad? Isn't Aamir Khan becoming one? Hindu youth should carefully decide whose films they watch and support.' Aamir Khan has yet to respond to these remarks, but the statement has triggered intense discussions across political circles and social media.

Aamir Khan recently tied the knot for the third time with Gauri Spratt in the first week of July. The private, simple ceremony took place at his Bandra (Pali Hill) residence in Mumbai, attended only by family and close friends. Gauri, originally from Bengaluru, has a background in the beauty and wellness industry, having been a partner and director at the 'BBlunt' salon chain. She currently assists with operations at 'Aamir Khan Productions'.

The couple had known each other for 25 years but reconnected in 2024 through Aamir's cousin, Nuzhat Khan. Aamir publicly introduced Gauri as his 'partner' during his 60th birthday celebrations in 2025. This marks the actor's third marriage; he was previously married to Reena Dutta (1986–2002) and Kiran Rao (2005–2021).
