Abhijeet Dhipke Firm on Demand for Education Minister’s Resignation

A major administrative turn came on Saturday evening during the ongoing protests at Jantar Mantar in Delhi against alleged irregularities and paper leaks in examinations. After the demand to extend the protest timing of ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ (CJP) was rejected, police began removing the protesters from the site.

Although most of the crowd was cleared, high-voltage drama continued on the main stage. CJP founder Abhijeet Dhipke and several student leaders associated with AISA remained firmly seated on the stage till late evening.

Earlier, while addressing the crowd, Abhijeet Dhipke appealed to the Delhi Police to extend permission for the peaceful protest considering the future of students who had come from across the country. He warned the government that the path for dialogue is open, but their only condition is that Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan must resign immediately.

The protest started in a unique and aggressive manner with students carrying plates and spoons to create noise and wearing cockroach masks while demanding the dismissal of the Education Minister.

Students and candidates stressed that they are not here for any political agenda but to secure their future and ensure accountability.
