- Assam Floods: The death toll in Assam's devastating floods has risen to 98, with 1.55 lakh people affected across 13 districts. Golaghat, Sivasagar, and Jorhat are among the worst-hit regions, with over 10,000 displaced people sheltered in 55 relief camps as rivers flow above danger marks.
