Key Highlights:
- Production & Budget Growth: Defense production reached 1.78 lakh crore rupees in 2025-26, while the defense budget expanded significantly from 2.53 lakh crore rupees in 2013-14 to 7.85 lakh crore rupees in 2026-27.
- Massive Export Surge: Defense exports witnessed a phenomenal 56-fold increase from 686 crore rupees in 2013-14 to 38,424 crore rupees in 2025-26, with India supplying equipment to over 80 countries.
