Following a prolonged 24-day student protest in the state capital of Ranchi, the Hemant Soren government has taken a major step by cancelling all examinations and results conducted through the testing agency TDPL, including JSSC CGL. Furthermore, it has been announced that irregularities in all disputed recruitment examinations held from 2014 onwards will be investigated by the CID alongside an independent committee headed by a retired judge. Following this government decision, a wave of joy swept through the students staging a sit-in at Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium in Ranchi, who celebrated by feeding each other sweets. In light of serious issues and paper leak incidents uncovered during investigations, strict instructions have been issued to ensure absolute transparency and enforce stringent laws in future examinations.
