Tejashwi Yadav Slams Bihar Government Over Paper Leaks, Announces Raj Bhavan March

📅 August 17, 2026 🏷️ News/Politics & Education
Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav has launched a scathing attack on the Bihar government, alleging that the state is rapidly turning into the 'paper leak capital' of the country. Speaking on the recurring leaks across 10th, 12th, and recruitment examinations, Yadav expressed deep concern over the breakdown of law and order and the handling of student protests.

He specifically highlighted recent incidents of police action and firing in Siwan, questioning the accountability of senior administration officials while accusing the government of shielding top brass and only punishing low-ranking personnel. In response to these developments, Yadav announced that the opposition will stage a protest march to the Raj Bhavan on August 19 to submit a memorandum to the Governor regarding the deteriorating state of education and governance in Bihar.
