‘Cocktail 2’ Struggles Badly on Second Weekend

‘Cocktail 2’, starring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna, had a decent first weekend of over ₹47 crore. However, the film has slowed down considerably in its second week.

On its second weekend, the film collected just ₹12.65 crore, which is even less than the third-week collection of ‘Main Wapas Aaunga’. Akshay Kumar’s ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ has further affected its performance.

With a reported budget of ₹150 crore, the film has collected only ₹83 crore in 10 days. A strong recovery is needed for the film to be considered successful.
