Dubai Government Launches 'Dubai Invite' Scheme Offering Rewards Worth ₹75,000 to Revive Tourism

Following a dip in tourist numbers due to geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, the Dubai government has introduced a new initiative called 'Dubai Invite' to revive the tourism and hospitality sector.

Key Highlights:
- The 'Dubai Invite' Scheme: UAE residents aged 18 and above with a valid Emirates ID can nominate up to three friends or relatives living outside the UAE to visit Dubai.
- Rewards for Residents: Residents who successfully invite guests arriving by October 31 can receive reward packages worth up to 3,000 Dirhams (approx. ₹75,000) covering various offers.
- Reviving Tourism: The move comes in response to a temporary decline in hotel occupancy and tourist arrivals caused by recent regional conflicts, alongside other relief measures like the removal of luxury hotel night taxes and municipal fees.
