Iran Attacks US Bases from Kuwait to Bahrain

Tensions between Iran and the US have escalated sharply. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed responsibility for missile and drone attacks on eight US military bases in Kuwait and Bahrain, including the Ali Al Salem Airbase in Kuwait and the US Fifth Fleet headquarters in Bahrain.

The attacks were carried out between 2 AM and 3 AM. Iran described the strikes as a ‘decisive response’ to alleged US aggression. Explosions were also reported on Qeshm Island and near a telecom tower.

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed it had struck Iranian targets in response to an attack on a commercial oil tanker. The situation remains highly volatile in the region.
