Pakistan Standing on the Brink of Failure

Singapore’s former ambassador Bilahari Kausikan has described Pakistan as a country standing on the brink of failure. He said diplomatic successes, such as its role in Iran-US talks, cannot fill the stomachs of its people.

Kausikan blamed Pakistan’s own politicians and military for the country’s problems, saying poor governance and wrong policies are the real reasons for its crisis.
