Record Russian Crude Oil Imports in June!

Energy expert Anas Alhajji has claimed that June could see record Russian crude oil imports to India. A large number of tankers carrying Russian oil were spotted at various Indian ports.

According to CREA report, India remained the second largest buyer of Russian fossil fuels in May, importing hydrocarbons worth $6.7 billion. Russian crude accounted for 83% of these imports.

Major refineries including Vadinar, Jamnagar, Mangalore and Visakhapatnam have significantly increased intake of discounted Russian crude, helping control energy costs and improve refining margins.
