Bharatiya Janata Party National President Nitin Nabin has executed major changes by expanding the new national executive committee. Significant modifications were witnessed across the posts of vice-presidents, general secretaries, secretaries, and treasurers in this new team. By combining experienced veterans with younger leaders, the party has attempted to balance regional and social equations. Former Union Minister Smriti Irani, former RSS pracharak Ram Madhav, and Union Minister Piyush Goyal have made important comebacks into the national organization. Meanwhile, Vinod Tawde and Sunil Bansal have been retained as general secretaries, whereas prominent figures like Arun Singh, Dushyant Gautam, Tarun Chugh, and Radha Mohan Das Agarwal have been relieved of their responsibilities. The key post of national treasurer has been entrusted to Piyush Goyal. Political analysts believe these changes have been implemented keeping upcoming assembly elections and the 2029 Lok Sabha election strategy in focus.
