GST Collection Sees Massive Jump in June

The government released GST collection data for June on July 1, showing a strong growth. Gross GST revenue rose to ₹1,94,812 crore compared to ₹1,71,105 crore in June last year.

Domestic revenue increased 6.5% while import revenue surged 34.6%. Uttar Pradesh and Assam led among states with 19% and 17% growth respectively.

This marks one of the strongest monthly collections, indicating robust economic activity and improved tax compliance seven years after GST implementation.
