Team India Wins Series Against Afghanistan
Batting first after losing the toss, India posted a massive total of 402 runs in 49.5 overs. In reply, Afghanistan were bowled out for 232 runs in 44.3 overs.
Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan were the stars with the bat for India. Both scored brilliant centuries — Gill made 154 runs while Kishan slammed 125 runs off just 79 balls. Their explosive batting helped India reach a challenging total.
For Afghanistan, Rahmat Shah scored the highest 79 runs. However, the required run rate was too high, and the Afghan batting collapsed under pressure. Arshdeep Singh and Gurnoor Brar took three wickets each for India. Debutant Prince Yadav picked up two wickets.
This was a comprehensive victory for the Indian team. The bowlers and batters performed in perfect harmony, showing their supremacy over the visitors.
With this win, India has strengthened its position in the series and will now look to complete a clean sweep in Chennai.
